Results 2025

Our provisional combined score for 2025 was a fantastic 89%, a result that is very likely to place us amongst the very top schools nationally. This is an outstanding achievement that highlights the strength of our children, the dedication of our staff, and the ongoing support of our families.

The combined score in SATs reporting shows the percentage of pupils who achieved the expected standard (ARE) in all three core subjects: Reading, Writing and Maths. To reach such a high figure demonstrates not only the academic ability of our pupils, but also their resilience, determination and willingness to rise to every challenge placed before them.

It also reflects the tireless efforts of our teachers and support staff, who work so hard to inspire, guide and encourage every child to do their very best. Their commitment, from lesson preparation to extra support sessions, has ensured that pupils have had the very best chance to succeed.

We must also recognise the crucial role of parents and carers, who continue to provide encouragement at home and work in partnership with the school. This strong collaboration between home and school creates the foundation for children to thrive, both academically and personally.

Results

ARE (Age Related Expectation)

This is the percentage of pupils who have achieved the expected standard for their age in the subject. In Year 6 SATs, it means they have met the Department for Education’s expected level for the end of Key Stage 2.

GDS (Greater Depth Standard)

This is the percentage of pupils who are working at a higher standard than the expected level. It indicates pupils who not only met the expected standard but also demonstrated a deeper understanding and more advanced skills in the subject.

SPAG stands for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar.
