Your child’s school part of one of the highest-performing trusts in the country

The government has recently published national performance tables for multi-academy trusts.

These tables show that North Star Community Trust – the trust our school belongs to – is now ranked among the highest-performing primary trusts in the country.

In 2025, 88% of pupils across the trust’s primary schools met the expected standard at the end of Key Stage 2. This places the trust joint fourth nationally among multi-academy trusts.

What makes this particularly significant is the community our schools serve:

• 51% of pupils are disadvantaged

• 65% speak English as an additional language

• 23% have special educational needs

When results are broken down further, the trust is top nationally for disadvantaged pupils, pupils with English as an additional language and pupils with SEN.

Nationally, children in these groups often achieve lower outcomes. These results show that high expectations, strong teaching and a clear focus on reading and mathematics are making a real difference.

Our primary schools work closely together. Leaders and teachers share training, curriculum planning and best practice, so that successful approaches in one school benefit children across all three. Being part of the trust strengthens each school.

For our families, this means your child is part of a school that is both strong in its own right and strengthened further by working together within a high-performing trust.

We are proud of our pupils, our staff and our community, and we remain committed to ensuring that background does not determine achievement.
