A successful "Fantastic Friday" at Woodpecker Academy!"
On Friday 14th February Woodpecker PTA and staff put on a range of events for "Fantastic Friday".
The day commenced with Woodpecker pupils coming into school wearing a piece of red clothing and donating £1 towards an impoverished school in Bangladesh.
An amazing bake sale was held by the PTA and year 6 children, which will see the funds raised go towards the year 6 end of year trip!
Along with the bake sale and wearing red "Fantastic Friday" was also full of brilliant handcrafted artwork by the children in celebration of art week!
Congratulations to the amazing PTA, staff and children for putting together "Fantastic Friday".
Furthermore, a huge thank you to everyone who purchased a cake and donated money!
