Chinese New Year Celebrations at Woodpecker!
On Saturday 25th January it was the Chinese New Year.
Chinese New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional calendar.
The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China.
Our Year 3 presented a very special assembly to celebrate the New Year.
The assembly involved a spectacular moving Chinese dragon and the story of the Chinese Zodiac.
Parents and teachers who watched gave a thunderous ovation to the pupils, who worked really hard on the assembly.
