Knitting and crocheting club design blankets and quilts for the most vulnerable communities.
Knitting and crocheting club members gathered for their last session, and to collect the blankets and quilts they knitted which are to be donated to hospitals and women’s shelters across London with the help of Project Linus UK.
The main purpose of the charity is to provide a sense of security for traumatized babies and children by providing comfort blankets and quilts.
The members said they felt proud that not only do they love knitting and crocheting and appreciate the relationships they have created, but the blankets and quilts they have created will be a place of comfort for anyone in need of a hug.
