Year 6 Cooking Club learn to cook new, improved pancakes.

Club members put their culinary skills to good use as they learned to cook a healthier and still very tasty alternative to traditional pancakes - oat pancakes.

They substituted sugar and honey with oats and bananas, to retain that sweetness everyone loves. Year 6 described their new pancakes as ‘Fantastic’, ‘So good’ and ‘I am going to make these at home.’

Each week the children are learning how they can make fabulous food more healthily.

Thank you to Sapna Jewtha-Chapman from the Big Spoon Kitchen for delivering the class.
