Exploring the beauty of plants at Woodpecker Hall
In year 1, the children have been learning about plants and their unique characteristics.
Pupils used a magnifying glass to get the best view possible and help them in their investigation.
They were investigating the different colours and patterns on the plant they were given.
Our year 1 class has also been learning about the difference between deciduous and evergreen plants.
Deciduous plants shed their leaves every autumn as opposed to evergreen plants, which keep their leaves all year round.
The children had great fun inspecting the plants.
