Woodpecker pupils enjoy an online Yoga session

This week we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week and brought attention to the importance of the mental health of our young children, especially in these difficult times. The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is “Express Yourself”. 

Our Woodpecker pupils have been taking care of their physical and mental health by participating in an online Yoga class via zoom. 

Yoga is a great activity for children to participate in. It helps children manage their anxiety, boosts self-esteem, increases mindfulness, improves concentration, and also develops children's strength and flexibility.

The online Yoga sessions will be a regular occurrence for our children and they really enjoyed taking part.
